Abstract Fr. Joseph Zelechivsky was one of the first Ukrainian Orthodox priests in the United States. In addition to his religous ministry, Fr. Joseph was very active in Ukrainian cultural and arts activities, and he and his family were musicians, singers, and organizers of choirs and amateur theater productions.
